The Keeshond Club

Welcome to the official web site of The Keeshond Club, which was founded in 1925. Our objective is “… to promote the health and well-being of the breed, promote the breeding of Keeshonden to the type and standard for the breed as adopted by the Kennel Club and as illustrated on this Web Site, and to do all in its power to protect and advance the interests of the breed by exhibiting and guaranteeing classes at shows held under the rules of the Kennel Club.”

As we are unable to hold our January Open Show we have decided to hold an online show instead. This is open to members and non members and as well as the usual breed classes we are adding some fun classes which are open to all breeds.

The Officers and Committee of the Keeshond Club hope you will enjoy this fun event and we encourage all members and non-members to join us for a little distraction in these difficult times and to help raise funds for our 100th anniversary celebration in 2025.

Closing date 30th January 2021

Winners will be announced by 7th February 2021

Entry fee is just £1 for the first entry and 50p each for other classes.

Virtual award certificates will be given to the first five placed in each class and to overall winners

We have postponed DOTY until the new date of 1st May 2021.

The Club hosts three shows annually, two Open Shows held in January and October and a Championship Show in April.  We support Keeshond Rescue and host seminars on Health and other matters relating to the dog and the Keeshond in particular.  If anyone is looking for a keeshond puppy we can put you in contact with our secretary who will have details of current litters.
