Welcome to the official web site of The Keeshond Club, which was founded in 1925. Our objective is “… to promote the health and well-being of the breed, promote the breeding of Keeshonden to the type and standard for the breed as adopted by the Kennel Club and as illustrated on this Web Site, and to do all in its power to protect and advance the interests of the breed by exhibiting and guaranteeing classes at shows held under the rules of the Kennel Club.”

The Club hosts three shows annually, two Open Shows held in January and October and a Championship Show in April.  We support Keeshond Rescue and host seminars on Health and other matters relating to the dog and the Keeshond in particular.  If anyone is looking for a keeshond puppy we can put you in contact with our secretary who will have details of current litters.

The Southern Golden Retriever Society Is hosting a Judges Competency Framework Q&A session Presented by Gerald King on Friday 27th October 2017.
This is a unique opportunity for those aspiring to be judges in the future all existing judges, at any level, and any dog show society committee member to learn how the Kennel Club’s new Judges Competency Framework will impact and what the new learning process will mean when it becomes fully operational with effect from January 2019. The Kennel Club has kindly agreed for Gerald King to do an outline presentation and facilitate a question and answer session so that judges can understand the various requirements.
